Whats Wrong with the Yanks, BoSox?

Even though it is still extremely early in the season, Yanks and Red Sox fans have to be concerned with how their teams have started the season.

The Yankees (6-6) are my World Series pick but as of now they don't even look like a Wild Card team coming off an embarrassing 22-4 loss to the Indians earlier today. The Red Sox look even worse but have been playing a little better as of late.

I think both teams will come on strong in the middle of the season like they always do, but just what's the problem for these teams.

For the Yankees, it's just a lack of team chemistry. The Yankees are constantly criticized for trying to "buy" championships and they are constantly changing their roster during the offseason.

Alex Rodriguez will be back in a couple of weeks and he'll add instant production on offense.

The biggest problem that has plagued the Red Sox (4-6) is not being able to score runs. up until Wednesday's win over the Athletics, the Red Sox had not scored over five runs in a game.

Eventually the Red Sox will find their offense and things will turn around. They're coming off scoring 10 runs against the Orioles on Friday so maybe things are changing in Boston.

The Yankees and Red Sox start their first series on April 24th at Fenway Park.
