Vick's Debt Has Been Paid

Michael Vick's official sentence from the court finally came to an end earlier today and now the former NFL star is ready to get back into the NFL.

As many players have already learned, Vick will have to convince a strict commissioner in Roger Goodell to let him back into the league. If the past has told us anything, Vick may still have his own punishment to pay from the NFL.

Vick has already hired an agent to get him back into the NFL.

Things don't look so great for Vick so far, however. Both the New York Giants and the New York Jets have already publicly declined having interest in Vick.

It would be hard as an owner to take a chance on Michael Vick. Even though he is a remarkable physical specimen that could end up helping a lot of teams, it could hurt any team that takes a chance on him in the public eye.

If a team does decide to take a chance on him, then he will most likely start as either a back-up, or a starter of a really bad team.

The one team I could see Mike Vick going to is the Miami Dolphins. Not only could the Miami fan base possibly be more accepting, but they love to run that wildcat offense that Vick would fit perfectly in. Not to mention they currently only have two quarterbacks listed on the depth chart.

Obviously, Vick would start behind Chad Pennington, who proved he's still a great starter in the NFL. However, it would be very likely you would see Vick put into certain packages that could involve some trick plays that would give a defense fits.

It really is hard to guess what's ahead in Vick's NFL career, if anything.

If Vick is lucky enough to get a second chance, then Vick will not only have to prove he can still play football, but he will have to prove to the public that he really has learned from his mistakes.
